1. What is the basic level of sewing and needlework knowledge required for this course?

We start from the beginning – from the first stitch, to the last. So, you don’t really need much experience. However, some knowledge will always be useful.

2. What is the teaching methodology followed in this course?

For easy understanding of Garment Construction, we teach not just how to measure, but also how to draft, cut and stitch. Our aim is to help you become an expert in your craft.

3. Will I be graded separately for drafting, cutting and stitching?

Yes. Drafting, cutting and stitching, each have their own separate sections and assignments.

4. Will the course help me start my own boutique?

Our methodology ensures that you learn the craft of constructing various garments in the best manner possible. Pattern Making & Garment Creation course helps you learn from simple to complex methods in a short time. However, it is your dedication and focus that will determine your success in becoming an entrepreneur.

5. What is the difference in the teaching methodology in Western & Indian garment creation?

Pattern drafting lays the basic foundation for the creation of all garments. The way the draft pattern of a Western garment is manipulated and shaped is quite different from that of Indian garments. Even the cutting and stitching style of Western and Indian garments vary.
